There are tens of hundreds of Software Testing Institutes available in Pune and Pimpri-Chichwad region. I decided to pen my thoughts on how you could make your choice.
How to choose the right Institute
- First and foremost, you must check the course content of the institute to ensure they cover all relevant topics
- Get recommendations from friends/acquaintances who have passed out from that Institute.
- You must check for your final objective of joining the course like getting placed or good subject matter knowledge and ensure the institute is capable of providing you the same
- Check for placement records with the institute before you join
- Last but not the least, you must check for Course fees and suitable batch timings to match your need
I decided to make a recommendation by actually visiting many top Software Testing Training Institutes in Pune so as to evaluate the Best Software Testing Training Institute out of the multitude of options available. I found that very few Software Testing classes actually provide practical knowledge. It was a great challenge to find the right one.
I went through their entire Software Testing QA Training syllabus and found it to be very good fit for beginners as well as experienced testing and QA professionals. There are different certification course options, which you can select based on your requirements. For freshers, Diploma in Software Testing is a good choice and if you are an experienced Software Testing professional then you can take your career to new heights by joining Automation Testing courses like QTP, QC, Selenium, LoadRunner or take up advanced Testing Topics like Advanced QTP Workshop. QTP11 (Latest Version of QTP) is used to train students to ensure they are ready for the future.
Unlike other institutes in Pune, the Software Testing course fees is very affordable to all students. Other Software Testing Training centers in Pune charge anywhere between Rs. 20k and 30k for Diploma courses. Here course fees is around Rs 10k to 14k for most of the courses. They also have a fast Track Course for 2 weeks for people in a rush to complete their Software Testing Course. They promises training and placements to all its students who have completed Software Testing course with them. It showed me records of having provided Software Testing Placements in top MNCs and Mid-segment companies to its students.
One more thing, no matter which institute you join you must take full advantage of that course during and after course duration. Make sure to ask many questions to your instructor. For this you need to revise the topics you learned and also practice automation testing tools. Unless you practice by your own you won’t learn automation tools no matter which institute you join.
