I read a report published by CNBC recently that should’ve shocked me but didn’t. It claimed that over 50,000 jobs were already lost to AI in 2025.
This unfortunate trend has put many professionals, especially in the tech and creative fields, on edge. I’ve talked to many folks recently who also believe that AI is coming for their jobs.
What they don’t understand is that it isn’t AI itself that they should be worried about, but someone who knows how to wield it.

Coursiv Review: Is It Really Worth It

The salvation of many professionals today lies in learning to use the various AI tools that are gaining prominence online. The bummer, of course, is the fact that there are simply way too many tools to keep up with.
If only we had a single app to help us master multiple AI tools at once. This is where Coursiv comes into play. What is it, though, and is it worth your time and money?
Those are the questions I’ll be answering in this hands-on Coursiv review.
Quick Verdict – Coursiv App Review
Coursiv is an online learning platform that has a lot to offer if and only if you are new to the world of AI tools and would like to know how to use them to your advantage. I like the personalized courses, the gamification features, and the overall look of the web platform.
On the other hand, Coursiv’s lessons are very basic, and therefore developers should steer away from them. There are occasional glitches, and I found the initial quizzes painfully annoying.
What is Coursiv?
Coursiv is an online platform that offers courses on how to use various AI tools. It functions similarly to an app like Duolingo. While Duolingo offers hands-on courses in various languages, Coursiv takes a similar path but for AI tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, Gemini, Perplexity, etc.
Check the video below to explore all about Coursiv:
Headquartered in Cyprus, the platform is managed in the US by Edulagoon Digital Corp. You can access it via your web browser on desktop or download the app on your iPhone or Android device.

Coursiv’s biggest USP is what the platform describes as “bite-sized” lessons. Instead of long sessions, Coursiv’s courses are guided and concise, with durations for each session ranging between 5 and 15 minutes a day.
The courses being offered are meant for beginners who’ve decided to dip their toes into the vast ocean of AI tools for the first time. You’ll learn how to use AI tools and not how to create them.
Now, I wouldn’t do this Coursiv AI review justice if I didn’t dive deeper and explain its functionality. So, let’s divert our attention to the features or tools that make it worth checking out.
Here is a video explaining the step-by-step process on how to start and use Coursiv:
Coursiv’s Key Features
Enlisted below are some of the prime features of Coursiv:

#1) One Platform to Learn Multiple AI Tools
If I had to just come up with a number off the top of my head, then I would say that there are probably over a thousand or so AI tools out there. They each vary in their purpose. It is just inconvenient to hop from one platform to another, hoping you’d be able to learn something about each of them.

Coursiv serves as a solution to this problem by offering multiple AI tools built right into the platform. Whether you want to learn how to create images with Midjourney, manage your marketing content with Jasper, generate videos with Veo, or create websites with Loveable, Coursiv’s got you covered.
#2) Personalized Learning
Coursiv goes above and beyond to set you up with a personalized learning path based on your desires, requirements, and inherent AI skills. When you first sign up, you’ll be asked a range of questions. The answers to these questions will help Coursiv create a learning program it deems best for you.
This is also where I encountered my first issue with Coursiv. Although Coursiv claims to only ask a few questions, I had to answer around 20 questions, and it kind of felt like they would never stop coming. Some of those questions also felt very repetitive, as if I had already answered the question only to be met with the same question again, only phrased differently.

Once you make it through this tedious process, it is smooth sailing. As for the programs, you get to pick one that fits your schedule best. You could go with the 14-day program or do what I did and opt for the popular 28-day AI certification program challenge.

Here’s how my course went:
Week 1: AI Basics
The first week consisted of lessons touching on basic topics like learning what ChatGPT is. This is how you know that the platform is strictly meant for beginners who have no prior knowledge of AI tools. The best aspect of this first week was when we crossed the “basics bridge” to learn about prompt engineering.

Learning how to structure your prompts properly is fundamental to yielding correct results from the AI tools you are using. I was impressed by just how comprehensive the session on prompt engineering was. This is also when I first learned about the R+C+I (Role + Context + Instructions) method.
A prompt with clearly defined instructions, context, and role is bound to yield desirable results. I do believe I’ve gotten better at composing my prompts after this course.
Week 2: Image Generation
In my second week, we moved to image-generating AI tools like Midjourney and Stable Diffusion. Again, the lessons were concise yet comprehensive. I am confident that anyone who wishes to learn more about AI-based image generation or design-making will find the course very helpful.
Week 3: Advanced AI Tools
Once the basics were covered, I was greeted with lessons on more advanced AI tools. I am talking about Claude and DeepSeek. It familiarizes you with the entire AI ecosystem thriving on the internet today.
Week 4: Creating a Workflow
Learning how different AI tools function will finally make you capable of using them to your advantage to serve various purposes. Simply put, you are taught how to rely on multiple tools to build a practical workflow that serves you well.
For instance, let’s say you want to create a website. You’ll learn how to use the combined might of Perplexity for research, Stable Diffusion for image generation, and Loveable for website generation.
#3) Certificates
Courses aren’t where Coursiv stops. You are also rewarded with certificates that really elevate your professional resume and LinkedIn profile. Many of you might have legitimate concerns about these certificates’ authenticity.

Well, don’t be, as Coursiv’s learning programs are accredited by CPD, which just so happens to be a globally recognized authority on professional development. Completing a course rewards you with a certificate. You can easily add this certificate to your LinkedIn profile or resume, and it will serve as proof of your proficiency in various AI tools.
#4) The Gamification
I am also a fan of the gamification features Coursiv employs to make learning AI tools fun and engaging. For instance, you get the AI-Spotter game, where you have to find out which image is AI-generated and which one is real.
Then you have the Prompt Master game, where you are required to review prompts and label them as good or poor. This is where Coursiv reminded me of Duolingo a lot. It also records streaks, as that app does, greeting you with a fire emoji for being consistent with your lessons and not missing a single day.
#5) The Mobile Apps
Its browser-based platform isn’t the only way that Coursiv can be accessed. It features a really good mobile-based app for both iPhones and Android devices. These apps are highly rated, 4.4/5 on the Google Play Store and 4.8/5 on the App Store.
The short nature of each lesson, combined with this app, made another thing apparent to me about Coursiv. It is truly meant for busy professionals who want to carve a few minutes out of their very busy day to learn a few useful tricks on various AI tools. With the app, you can just take part in your lessons on the go.
Coursiv Pricing
Coursiv’s price will vary depending on the subscription plan you choose. The monthly plan would cost you $19.99 for the first month and renew at $39.99 afterwards. You can also opt for the 12-week plan, which would cost you $39.99 initially and then renew at $79.99 every 12 weeks.
There is a trial plan, which costs $6.93 for the first week. You can cancel the subscription anytime. Depending on the promotional offer running at the time you subscribe, you might have to pay less than what I did.
I have no complaints regarding Coursiv’s plans. I like that you get access to the entire app with all the AI tools via a single subscription plan.
Is Coursiv Legit or Scam?
From my personal experience, I noticed nothing that would suggest that Coursiv was a scam. It also enjoys rave reviews on Reddit, TrustRadius, Google Play Store, and the App Store. Yes, you’ll find some reviews calling the platform a scam.
I would advise you to take those comments with a grain of salt. People do tend to exaggerate a negative experience on the internet.
If there was any doubt about Coursiv being a scam, it was blown out of the water when I first contacted its support team. They were responsive and patient while dealing with my query. Good customer support is the definitive sign of a legitimate, safe app in my book.

Who is Coursiv Best For?
Coursiv is an online AI learning platform tailor-made for beginners. If you are a professional who wants to learn how to use AI tools for writing, research, image generation, marketing, or website creation, then you’ll adore what Coursiv has to offer.
It especially caters to busy professionals with short, gamified lessons that can be 10-20 minutes long each day.
I would not recommend Coursiv to developers or anyone who wants to learn how to create or modify an AI model or tool. There are better learning apps out there if AI development is what you seek.
