    could you please clarify one question for me, it’s #17 in 1st paper:
    17 How would you estimate the amount of re-testing likely to be required?
    a) Metrics from previous similar projects
    b) Discussions with the development team
    c) Time allocated for regression testing
    d) a & b

    the correct answer you provide is ‘d’
    but in other sources correct answer is ‘a’ and I also think that there is no point to discuss fixed bugs with developers – they always say ‘it’s fixed’ but in 80% it’s not so… (discussion with other Testers would help tho)

    There are no real dumps for FL ISTQB exam. Please don’t try to purchase, you will be cheated. I cleared my exam on 11th june 2011 and cleared it with 82%. Please read syllabus carefully. Read Rex Black Book for more description. Questions are more tricky and you need to read them carefully and thik twice before to click the option.

    I am answering the following question
    21 ) Which of the following should NOT normally be an objective for a test?
    a) To find faults in the software.
    b) To assess whether the software is ready for release.
    c) To demonstrate that the software doesn’t work.
    d) To prove that the software is correct.

    Any one pls explain me. The answer is (D). But my answer c.

    answer d is rite. Its not C, becoz as tester’s we always try to find defects. In other words we are trying to show that the software does’nt work as expected.

    Answer D is rite. Becoz our main goal is the first 3 options.

    I have my istqb foundation level on date july 13, but i was totally not tracking date and busy with family event, and now i realised july 13 is test date.am almost with no preparation. AM thinking only way is to give test with how much ever prep i can do and re take the test. I have a doubt, if i miss writting test, can i reschedule again freely? if i miss test will i be given one more chance to write with same fee?I know am responsible for this, but its mistake from my side.

    It depends on the role you are in and your interest. I would also suggest to go for a level which would help you either in current role or vertical growth.
    I think with 9 years of exp., and must be in a lead or mgr role, you should go for TM.
    I’m planning to give ISTQB adv. TM certification this year.

    Can anybody help me in counting the number of test cases created by pairwise testing without using any tools?

    For example:
    A screen has 3 input fields, the first two fields have 3 possible values, the third field has 2 possible values, so the num. of TCs in pairsewise is 9 TCs but I don’t know why it is 9 TCs, can anybody explain it?

  459. I wrote the exam today. Out of the 40 questions where in each carried 1 mark i was doubtful about 6 questions rest all i was confident that they are correct. I got only 24, to my sudden surprise most of them in the room where i wrote also got 24 only. Every one was shocked, Here most of them in the sense atleast 10 people. I was confused.
