How to Use the Hourly to Salary Calculator

Step 1: Choose Your Calculation Mode

At the top, you’ll see two toggle buttons:

  • “Hourly to Salary” – Convert hourly wage to annual salary
  • “Salary to Hourly” – Convert annual salary to hourly rate

Click on the one you need!


Mode 1: Using Hourly to Annual Salary Calculator

What you need to enter:

  1. Currency: Select from dropdown ($ USD, € EUR, £ GBP, Rs INR, ¥ JPY)
  2. Hourly Rate: Your pay per hour (e.g., 25.00)
  3. Hours per Week: How many hours do you work weekly (default: 40)
  4. NOTE: We are using by default 52 weeks per year

Example:

  • Currency: $ USD
  • Hourly Rate: $35
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Click “Calculate Annual Salary”

Result: Shows annual salary of $72,800, along with monthly and weekly salary breakdowns.


Mode 2: Using the Annual Salary to Hourly Calculator

What you need to enter:

  1. Currency: Select your currency
  2. Annual Salary: Your yearly salary (e.g., $75000)
  3. Hours per Week: Your weekly work hours (default: 40)

Example:

  • Currency: $ USD
  • Annual Salary: $75,000
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Click on the “Calculate Hourly Rate” button

Result: Shows hourly rate $36.06, along with monthly and weekly breakdowns.

How to Calculate Hourly and Yearly Pay?

Hourly to Salary formula: Annual Salary = Hourly Rate × Hours per Week × 52 weeks
Salary to Hourly formula: Hourly Rate = Annual Salary ÷ (Hours per Week × 52 weeks)

$15 an Hour is How Much a Year?

If you earn $15 an hour, then your annual salary would be $31,200. Here is the calculation $15 × 40 hours × 52 weeks = $31,200/year. We are assuming 40 hours per week and total 52 weeks per year. All these figures are pre-tax.

$24 an Hour is How Much a Year?

If you earn $15 an hour, then your annual salary would be $49,920. Here is the calculation $24 × 40 hours × 52 weeks = $49,920/year. We are assuming 40 hours per week and total 52 weeks per year. All these figures are pre-tax.

$40 an Hour is How Much a Year?

$40,000 a Year is How Much Per Hour?
