Taking action is the key to success. Do you know the secret of taking action? Ask this question to yourself: What is the smallest step I can take towards my goal, right now?

No matter how much you read, if you don’t get into action, you’re wasting your time.

Today, I'm cutting this post very short and asking you to do something right now. This could be anything like: start looking for a better career, start learning any automation tool, learn basic SQL and UNIX commands, learn basics of scripting and HTML or do something that will improve your life and help you achieve your goals!

best testing advice

All these are high-level goals. You need to break it into smaller steps and start with the smallest step which can be completed within the next 30 minutes, and so on..

Leave me a comment of what you are about to do and how much you succeeded in that!

Good luck with your new endeavor!

  10. KUMAR if u want to get certification download ISTQB syllabus and notes and read carefully thats all. but certificate notes not enough to learn testing. U can read lots of lots books. there is some good books. Also try to practise and think dummy @ pc:) u can find some bugs when u think dummy :) also start from blackbox techniques that is first thing to start line of testing.

  11. @ deepthi,
Hell lot of companies, Hell lot of opportunities, Hell lot of applications, Hell lot of clients, Hell lot of customers….so on.

Just least worry about the companies, Who just look for cut off scores. If not 25k salary, Lets take 10k salary. I mean to say, If not big companies, Lets move on small companies. What’s wrong?

Just search in naukri. You run out of the limit for applying jobs! :-)

How much you scored in 10th? This doesn’t matter much. May be hell lot of genuine reasons behind your less scores! But now time is there and it is up to you, How you’re going to deal with it.

Get job in a small company. Small package. But don’t look at salary. But take the opportunity that you’ve got to admit mistakes and learn the job in your area of interest. Take the benefit out of it!

Once you gain experience, Then you can list out your dream companies to work! This definitely works in long run.

    Good luck.
