Thanks for generously offering your Software Testing book(s) for free. I’m NOT a coder or Dev, but i have “dabbled” in programming a tiny bit over the years – years ago. I may try to get more involved in it going forward. One thing that would help me a lot, is to WELL understand the everyday vocabulary – including its operational significance – of contemporary software development – especially that of open-source development. Yes, i know (roughly) what ‘compile’ means (tho’ probably not ALL of the finer points it implies/ involves), and likewise “build from Source”. I’ve also tried to teach myself basic Github operations (w/ some success).
Recently, i asked asked a well-known open-source contributor about such a ‘dictionary’; his suggestion was to perhaps seek out books on software development project management books (which suggestion i have not (yet) followed).
So, do you have any suggestions on such a ‘dictionary’ (and/or perhaps a good software project mgmt book — for a GENERALIST, NOT a skilled Coder)?
THANKS!
If you accept Bitcoin (only) on the Lightning network, i’d be glad to make a modest contribution of Sats for your generous work. If you don’t (yet) have a way of accepting donations in the world’s most honest and powerful money that humanity has EVER had, may i suggest you can try BTC Payserver, or OpenNode, just to name two very low-cost or even free to use apps for receiving BTC on the Lightning network. Using Lighting these days has become important, as “on-chain” BTC transaction fees can often be a significant fraction of a small transaction’s total value, whereas such transactions made on the Lightning network incur – at most – fees of just a few Sats (Satoshis, each Satoshi being ONE one-hundred-millionth of a whole bitcoin).
Thank you!
Thanks
Thank you for all you do!!!!!
Thank you also !!!
