Job Profile Responsibilities:
Create, write and maintain Test Scripts and Plans based upon a defined Test Strategy.
Work with the Quality Assurance team to implement and administer automated tests.
Work closely with development team to support data verification, data comparison and logical workflow for several back-end processes.
Execute manual and automatic Test Plans in the proper test environment for each release.
Execute ad hoc testing.
Ensure accuracy of technical documentation.
Mandatory Skills Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
Some programming experience and proficiency in Sybase, MS SQL, Perl and Shell script.
3-5 years of SQA experience. Specifically must have formal testing experience which includes documenting testing procedures and writing test plans and scripts.
1 or more years securities processing or related financial experience.
3-5 years experience developing and implementing Quick Test Professional (QTP) scripts.
3 to 5 years experience in creating and implementing performance testing scripts using LoadRunner.
Demonstrated understanding of the product life cycle, including requirements, functional specifications, development, QA, release management, source control, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be detailed orientated, excellent problem solver and demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure.
Desired Skills Desired:
Familiarity with financial terms related to brokerage and trading will be a plus.
