Creates test plans, develops test cases from requirements documentation and writes test procedures. Should be capable of writing simple SQL queries
Performs regression testing and basic functionality testing
Analyzes test results and communicates those results via defect tracking software.
Ensures application meets specified standards and specifications before release.
Works with Developers and Business Analysts to resolve issues.
Coordinates end user participation in the testing process (UAT).
Approves the release of new and upgraded applications (Baselines).
