@sarita: Considering you have no job experience it will be difficult to get job, current batch of engineers are generally considered for fresher job opening, it would be better if you go for some diploma or higher studies.

This book looks to be very interesting. Does it explain on how day 1 of a Software Testing job would be like as well? On the day-to-day activities a tester would be doing? The types of people he’ll be working with once he is hired, like his team members. If he’s in an agile environment what kind of people and if he’s in traditional what kind of people. If so, I’ll be buying this book!

Now my friends are suggesting me to put some experience and look for testing job, since these are easy compared to development. I don not know how much of it is true. I would like some of the experienced ppl to comment on this regard.

I found the book “Software Testing Career Package ” is very organised and valuable.It is worth to read for a fresher as well as a experienced one!
I like to congratulate Vijay who came up with the worthy book with great hardwork.

#19 Supriya on 02.27.13 at 6:00 pm

@manisha

Never put experience before actually getting it.
Testing is not happy go lucky work. You will be definitely caught in Technical interview, if you don’t have experience and you are showing it.
