We strive to reflect our core values by providing a great working environment, and our active sports & social team hosts a wide variety of events such as a summer party, fireworks display, quiz nights and a wide range of sporting events”

Ah, that’s the complete wish list any employee have thought of.

So what’s the conclusion here?

Are glory days coming again? 

Some employers took benefit of economic slowdown, thinking that they are already paying enough money to do the job, then why to offer more benefits. On the other hand, employees were in need of jobs so they accepted any offer received, without thinking much about benefits.

Things are changing now. As the globe is slowly coming out of this worst economic crisis, there are many job openings available in the market. Now employers will have to rethink their recruitment plans to offer good benefits to attract best talent.

However, this employee benefit program is not same for all companies. Some small companies simply can’t afford to provide all such benefits. To remain competitive in this cutting edge technology, I think companies should be creative in selecting the benefits for their employees. Basic perks plus some necessary benefits depending on job type and location can attract good talent even for small companies as well.

Let’s hope that worst days are behind now and software industry will boom again.
